I used to teach English. So let's do a close reading of that sentence up there, to see if we can figure out what the author is saying.

I DON'T think, Samsam, that's the sort of tongue inspection I'd let you get away with.

That don't up there negates the following clause "That's the sort of tongue inspection I'd let you get away with."

So the meaning of this sentence is that I would not let you cut my tongue off for inspections.
